Sweet Tooth

Designers Hissa Igarashi and Sayuri Marakumi created the dress out of 50,000 gummy bears, to pay homage to the late designer Alexander McQueen.  The gummy bears were arranged in a rainbow chevron-like pattern inspired by a McQueen rainbow feather dress.
The dress consisted of a wire base and took three weeks to hand glue each gummy bear.  Three people were also needed to move the dress, as it ended up weighing 220 pounds.
