Crime scene

Cigarette sunglasses

Cola can rollers

Free lady

Ms. v. Mr.

The woman in me: Why - The placement of the hair, the shortness of the dress, the blockiness of the shoes?

The man in me: Who - Is that?

VMAs (2009)

This year the MTV Video Music Awards was not the snooze-fest it has been in years past.

Russell Brand was smooth and politically-incorrect in the sleazy, yet charming, sort of way that only a proper British bloke can be.

There was a fantastic Michael Jackson tribute (by whom I can only guess are his dancers from the tour that will never be - unless you count the lost footage that will come out as a documentary on Oct. 30).

Janet Jackson performed by her brother's digital side.

Green Day rocked.

Beyonce shook.

Pink flew.

Gaga bled.

And, of course, Kanye cried.

Again.

Only this time, it wasn't about a Grammy that he "should have won" - but a VMA that Beyonce should have won.

Which she eventually DID win.

Beyonce graciously relinquished her spotlight to Taylor Swift whose own was so rudely robbed by He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named-Anymore (whom Kelly Clarkson has some choice words for).

Alright, now that we've put that to bed -

Let's get to the(ir) closets.

Here Come The Wonder Girls!

By Bronwyn Barnes

The Wonder Girls have been South Korea's hottest girl group ever since their 2007 debut. Now that the Girls have joined The Jonas Brothers on tour, they're starting to make waves in America. Yubin, Sohee, Sun, Mimi and Yenny often rock a coordinated retro look—which reminds us of The Supremes' Motown style—but we've also spotted them in edgy pieces by Marc Jacobs and Lauren Moshi, not surprising considering that they count Beyonce, Twiggy and Audrey Hepburn among their style icons.
